Our da Vinci Center for robot-assisted surgery performs minimally invasive operations in the fields of urology, abdominal surgery and gynaecology at varisano Hospital in Bad Soden using the latest da Vinci surgical system.
Since 2021, we have performed over 1,000 surgeries using the da Vinci system.
The robot-assisted surgical system supports doctors in so-called laparoscopic operations. 5 to 12 mm incisions, through which the necessary instruments and a camera are inserted into the body, are sufficient instead of large abdominal incisions. In addition to a 3D view of the surgical site, the system allows surgeons to precisely move and control the surgical instruments.
Our surgeons use this innovative, particularly precise technology for complex procedures for the benefit of their patients. The da Vinci system is particularly gentle on tissue and nerves when performing surgical procedures in a small, delimited surgical area, such as the prostate, abdomen or female genital organs.
Despite all the modern technology, it is important to us not to lose sight of the human being, because attention and care contribute significantly to recovery.
