Due to the natural aging process, but also weight fluctuations and pregnancies, our skin loses elasticity. Excess skin and sagging skin are often the unfortunate result. The most common areas of the body where sagging is most noticeable are the upper arms, chest, abdomen, thighs and buttocks.
If sports and a healthy diet do not show any success, modern plastic surgery can be an effective and sustainable method to remedy the situation. In principle, the sagging tissue can be surgically removed and tightened in all affected parts of the body. The surgical technique and the incision are chosen depending on which part of the body is involved. However, all superficial skin tightening procedures are similar.
For special procedures such as facelift or breast lift, please refer to the respective chapters. Individual clarification and planning of the procedure can only take place in a detailed consultation, as in all other cases.
